The ice cube broke like glass
in my hand
and struck out a shattering sound
making the act of getting a glass
of water
seem
downright dangerous
What a flight of fancy
to have ice
it must have had
a layer of water
and a layer
of
air
and the water froze
on top of the air
but logic doesn't belong
here
